The Playground Waiver

The Consent and Release from Liability form for reading purposes.

Any activity that is being participated in, that is managed by The Playground Limited = ‘the Activity’

I declare that:

I am in an appropriate physical condition to participate in the Activity, given the known parameters of the Activity (such as the length, time, physical demands and environmental context).
I agree to behave safely, follow all activity rules and regulations, and adhere to safety instructions provided by Activity organisers before, during, and after the activity to ensure the safety of themselves and others.
I acknowledge that consuming alcohol before engaging in activities is prohibited, and I am aware that I will be disqualified from participating in the activities without any refund if I have violated this rule.
I have taken medical advice on any pre-existing medical conditions, and confirm that it is medically safe for me to participate in the Activity.
I acknowledge that there are risks involved in the Activity. I fully realise the dangers of participating in the Activity, and fully assume the risks associated with my participation and my wellbeing and safety during and after the Activity. I understand and acknowledge that the Activity organisers provide no warranties, regarding my wellbeing and safety.
I understand and agree that situations may arise during the Activity, which may be beyond the immediate control of the Activity organisers.
I consent to receiving medical treatment in the event of illness or injuries suffered during or immediately after the Activity.
I agree that to the extent permissible by law, the Activity organisers, the sponsors and other parties associated with the Activity, have no liability to me whatsoever for any direct or indirect loss, (including, but not limited to injury or death) sustained by me during or in any way related to my participation in the Activity.
I understand that shooting at paragliders and hang gliders is an arrestable offence under CAA law. If a member of The Playground staff witnesses me doing so or have evidence that I have attempted to shoot anyone flying overhead; I agree to pay a fine of $5000 to The Playground Limited
I authorise the use of my name, voice, picture and information on this entry form in any broadcast, telecast, promotion, advertising, and in any other way, without payment to me or any other form of compensation. Participants under 16 years old are excluded from this clause. The Playground’s policy of to not take photos of children’s groups.
