Join Forces with The Playground and Be a Wildlife Warrior!

Welcome to The Playground's jungle of corporate social responsibility (CSR)! We've got a wild partnership with the Wakatipu Wildlife Trust, and we're on a mission to protect the breathtaking beauty of Aotearoa.

At The Playground, we're not just adventure enthusiasts; we're nature lovers who are deeply committed to preserving the wonderland we call home. Nestled at the foot of Coronet Peak, where wildlife frolic and flora flourish, we've got a soft spot for Mother Nature. Aaron and I, with our farming backgrounds and a love for the great outdoors, are on a quest to safeguard this paradise for generations to come.

That's why we've teamed up with the Wakatipu Wildlife Trust to cook up a Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program that lets you be a superhero for the environment too!

The Wakatipu Wildlife Trust: Our Partner in Conservation
These folks have a vision as big as the Southern Alps – to create a predator-free wonderland across the greater Lake Wakatipu area, where our native ground-dwelling birds and Kiwi critters can thrive. They're like the Avengers of conservation, fighting off pesky predators to save our wildlife.

But here's where you come in. The Playground is offering corporate groups the chance to roll up their sleeves and join the wildlife warriors in protecting our furry and feathered friends against the villainous predators that threaten their livelihoods and futures.

Option 1: Trap 'Em with Kindness
Ever heard of the DOC 200? It's the humane trap of choice to nab stoats and rats – the mischievous culprits behind the dwindling numbers of our native birds in NZ. For a mere $150 each, corporate groups visiting The Playground can donate to buy one or more of these traps. As a thank-you bonus, we'll dish out an enlightening 20-minute presentation about the local predators and the havoc they wreak on our native wildlife. You'll leave knowing that your donation is making a real difference.

Option 2: Get Your Hands Dirty (but with Gloves, of Course)
If you're itching to do more than just donate, you can dive into the action! Opt for this option, and your team gets to walk the walk – literally. Join us for a guided stroll along a trap line, where you'll reset traps and become a trapping maestro. You'll also get an exclusive education on the ins and outs of the Trust's program and the epic benefits it holds for our native wildlife. This hands-on experience is like a crash course in conservation and lasts about an hour.

We get it, trapping and all that isn't everyone's cup of tea. But trust us, it's the secret sauce to NZ's ecological sustainability. Rest assured, all critters are given a respectful farewell, with a proper burial.

If your group is ready to be the change-makers and give back to the Queenstown region, reach out to us when you book your team-building adventure. Let's turn your day of fun into a day of making a real difference for our breathtaking backyard!

Together, we can be the heroes our wildlife deserves. Join us and let's embark on this epic adventure in conservation!
